the curly-haired paediatric physiotherapist behind The Curly Paeds Physio!

I am an APA Titled Paediatric Physiotherapist.​​

​

My Qualificiations: 

Bachelor of Applied Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy Practice.

Master of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice.

My Story

I completed my undergraduate degree in physiotherapy in 2019, and in 2023, I graduated with a Master in Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working across both the public and private sectors, including within the NDIS system supporting children with a wide range of needs, abilities, and goals.

I started The Curly Paeds Physio because I wanted to offer more personalised, relationship-based care—where families have direct contact with their physio, feel truly heard, and are empowered to make informed decisions about their child’s care. I believe in quality over quantity, in listening first, and in tailoring every session to the individual child. For me, it’s not just therapy—it’s a partnership built on trust, play, and purpose.

My clinical passion lies in infant physiotherapy and early intervention, supporting babies and toddlers during the most critical stages of motor development. I also love working with children with neurological, genetic, and developmental conditions, helping them build the skills and confidence to participate in everyday life.

​

I have a deep interest in assistive technology (AT) and love finding the right equipment that promotes comfort, safety, and participation in daily routines. Whether it’s a walker, supportive seating, or standing frame, I work closely with families and suppliers to ensure the AT we prescribe is functional, child-centred, and empowering.

​

My practice is guided by the WHO-ICF model, always focusing on function, inclusion, and participation. I speak Arabic at a conversational level and am proud to support families from diverse cultural backgrounds, creating a welcoming space where they feel comfortable, respected, and understood.
